The Text List visual element can be previewed on our Demo website People Spotlight visual element https://demo.miami.edu//visual-elements/text-lead-in-with-icons/index.html. It is available on primary and secondary landing pages in the Secondary Visual Element section.

How to Add the Text List Visual Element

  1. Click on the “Add Content” menu item at the top of the page.

  2. Select <Site Assets from the menu and then either “Primary” or “Secondary Landing Page”.

  3. Fill out all of the information for the page at the top and then scroll down to the “Secondary Visual Element” group

  4. Click on the downward facing arrow, then select “Text List” from value menu under “Element Type”

  5. Click on “Enable Heading” and then check the box next to “Yes” if you will be using a heading. If you don’t want to use a heading on the group, then just leave the box unchecked.

  6. Click on “Heading Text” and insert your Heading.

  7. Use the help text below “Heading Color” to help you add the color to the empty field.

  8. Select your “Heading Style” from the dropdown menu.

  9. Click on the “Text List Item” group to begin setting up your list.

  10. You can now use the WYSIWYG editor to start adding items / text.

  11. To add the next item, click on the green “+” on the right side of the “Text List Item” group bar.

  12. Another group will appear below and you can begin the process again.

  13. Once you’ve finished adding all of your items, click the three dot menu at the top of the page and then click the “Submit” button.

  14. Proceed to publish the page as you would any page by clicking publish and then selecting either the Development or Production server.
