Objective

This guide explains how to log in to Cascade CMS using University of Miami Single Sign-On (SSO) and access the CMS Dashboard.

When to Use This Process

Use this process whenever you need to access Cascade CMS to create, edit, review, or publish website content.

Before You Start

• Ensure you have an active University of Miami ID and password

• Confirm you have reviewed the Basic Training Guide. Once reviewed, email webmaster@miami.edu, and they will provide you with a link to the verification quiz.

• Ensure you’ve been granted Cascade CMS access

• Have a supported web browser open

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Using a web browser, go to http://cms.miami.edu. A UM Single Sign-On screen will load.

2. Sign in with your University of Miami credentials.

3. Click on the Sign in button.

4. After you successfully log in, you will see your Cascade CMS Dashboard.

Security Reminder

For security reasons, log out of University of Miami Single Sign-On and quit your web browser when you are done accessing services that require University credentials.
