Event Calendar List

The Events Calendar List visual element can be previewed on our Demo website. It is only available on the Secondary Landing Page - Events Calendar in the Secondary Visual Element section.

Instructions

1. Create a new Secondary Landing Page - Events Calendar under the Add Content drop-down.

2. The Calendar Title and Calendar Abstract sections affect the top of the calendar but are not part of the Calendar Event List Visual Layer:
   
   

   
   
   

    

3. To create a calendar list of events, choose the Calendar Event List from the Secondary Visual Layer drop-down menu.
   
   

    

4. Set the Calendar Event List to Localist to pull events from a Localist calendar.
   
   

    

5. The Calendar Event List section allows the list to be filtered based on Localist parameters for the event list. Email webmaster@miami.edu to configure your calendar list to match specific Localist venues, topics, calendar IDs, or event types.
   
   

6. The Date Finder section controls the label that appears above the Date Finder element. There are also additional fields that control basic presentation rules.
   
   

    

   
   Note: Some fields may only be accessible to CMS administrators, in which case, e-mail webmaster@miami.edu for assistance changing those.
   
   

7. The Button Group allows you to add a collection of buttons on the right-hand gutter of the page. These buttons flow under the calendar list on smaller ports.
