Disable Publishing

In Cascade CMS you can disable publishing of an asset, preventing any changes to that asset from publishing to the two available destinations.

For example, if you have a page in development but not quite ready for "prime time", it can be prevented from accidentally publishing.

Instructions

1. Select the desired asset from the Site Content menu on the left of the interface.

2. While previewing the asset, click on the Edit tab.

3. In the Configure tab, uncheck Include when publishing. This will disable any future changes to the asset from being published to the web server.

4. Click Preview Draft. After previewing the draft, click Submit.

If publishing is disabled at the folder level, no pages or assets contained within that folder will be able to publish.
